Happy 2008 to all you "Tropo Travelers"
In the past Tropotravel.com was used as a way to promote a series of Parrot Head themed group trips "Down to the Banana Republics". Due to economic pressures, higher airline rates and the difficulty of cancelling reservations without major penalties, we have moved on for now. (it also appears that due to our Tequila consumption on the trips, we are temporally banned from Mexico…It seems that Blue Agave is a very slow growing plant. Who knew??)
What Ol' Tropo Trav is involved in is providing fair priced hotel reservations in Las Vegas for Parrot Head themed charity parties like Migration, Last Man Standing and the Gypsies in the Palace Pool Party.
This July 25 & 26 2008 the place to be is Migration 2008 in Las Vegas. This "Party with a Purpose" is a weekend full of great music by Jerry Gontang & Stars on the Water, Tommy Rocker & Conched Out as well as the return of Jim Morris & the Big Bamboo Band. This is the lineup so far. We expect to add some very special surprises real soon to our stage.
The place – Hooters Casino Hotel poolside. Entertainment both Friday and Saturday. Bar stool, toes in the sand or but in the pool, it’s up to you.
A low admission price for charity gets you admission, a swag bag with t shirt and lots of stuph from our sponsors and a guarantee of one of the top Parrot Head parties in the country.
Need a room? Stay where the party is. Hooters Casino Hotel. The "Parrot Head Rate" is only $ 89.00 per night for Friday July 25 & Saturday July 26. Thursday, Sunday and Monday add ons at only $ 59.00 per night.
